Easter Morning,

I know it's a little late, but we had such a lovely busy Easter Sunday we didn't have much time for blogging.
I hope that you all had a great Easter weekend.
Easter morning started quite early with watching the sun rise at 6am at a lovely Easter service on the beach.
It was so beautiful and inspiring.

You can just about see the sun rising in this photo.

Bonfire on the beach to keep everyone warm.

People walking home afterwards.

I was then wide awake to get breakfast ready for the little ones.
They all love fruit so so so much so I cut up loads for them.
They didn't notice the lack of chocolate!
They all loved eating from the vintage china.

A lovely Easter card from my beautiful sister.

Pretty pink roses.

Painted eggs.

Boiled eggs,
one likes just the yellow
and one likes the white and yellow,
and one doesn't like them at all.

I have so fallen in love with these pink glass bowls.

Also love the spotted egg cup and the embroidered bird tablecloth.
The tablecloth didn't stay white for long with all those strawberries!

One of my newest purchases while shopping with my sister in law.
Also a big fan of vintage china.
I love this pretty jug so much,
it also came with a large pretty sugar bowl.

And can you ever have enough room in your tummy for fresh croissants!
This pink and gold side plate is also a favourite.

Fruit in pink glass bowl, and cereal in green glass bowl.

The little ones loved putting these cute little coloured glasses in a row, they are so dinky.
They so remind me so much of my Grandma Florence.
She used to give us the red sparkly drink Tizer in them when we visited her.

It was such a great start to the day.
A lovely sunrise Easter service on the beach,
followed by a feast with the family.

I love my oldest comments while he was eating,
"Can we have this every morning?"
Loved it, made me smile.

We had a lovely rest of Easter Sunday with loads of beautiful relatives.

It is my lovely brother's birthday today.
He is such a rare jewel in this world, and his lovely wife.
They share a birthday a few days apart.
We had such an awesome day with them today.
And also my other brother and his beautiful wife.
I am so lucky to have such amazing in-laws that I feel are like my  best friends.

Makes you so thankful for all that we have.

Hope you all had a really good Easter weekend too.

Red Spotty Teapot,

Once again I was paid a visit by my lovely neighbour Chris this weekend. Her bread making other half was in London working so I was fortunate to have her company for some much needed help.
Fancy Vintage is having a vintage tea party for 100 people this week for the Inauguration of the High Sheriff. So quite a lot of china checking and making sure everything is perfect.
So helpful Chris assisted in lots of carrying and inspecting with me. There aren't many people that would be helping in a garage looking the vintage look like Chris.

You probably have already guessed if you have seen previous posts about my neighbour that she seems to have a love for everything Anthropologie
Love this red and blue bird dress and the spotty cardi.

Chris picked one of my favourite's teapot to match her outfit.

The red and white spotty teapot is made by Elijah Cotton,
(Lord Nelson Ware).

And also the cup and saucer.
I have a lot of this set now, I absolutely love it.

It's such a cheerful happy china set.

Hope you enjoyed.
Better start packing china up for the tea party event.
They are not using this spotty set, they have gone for the floral vintage tea party theme.
What fun!
Take care for now

Gold Sadler teapot and Buckingham Palace Bone China

I had another lovely visit from my next door neighbour Chris.
And once again she was the essence of style from Anthropologie and was armed with chocolate.
Each visit is a challenge to find a teapot and vintage cup and saucer to match her cool outfits.
Hope you like this china set with Chris's dress.

I love this gold and white Sadler teapot, it looks so Royal.
Fancy Vintage China is involved in an exciting very high tea next week,
so I think this gold teapot will be perfect to use.

Love this delicate Buckingham Palace gold, navy blue and red cup and saucer.

Chris teams her red patterned dress with red tights and brown boots.

Bit of red gingham in my kitchen.

Love her vintage style brown belt.

And the detail on the sleeve.

Always make sure you hold the lid on the teapots!

And make sure you have an old embroidered tablecloth to complete the look for your afternoon tea.

Wide rimmed cup.

Top view.

And a cheeky little monkey also wanted to use the bone china tea cup!

Hope you enjoyed.

Looking forward to seeing her new outfit that arrived in the post this week!

Until next time.

Mad Hatters's Tea Party

Met a lovely rabbit yesterday.
It is always exciting when a rabbit loves vintage china.
I did notice though that he was having problems drinking tea.
It was actually a Mad Hatter's Tea Party held at the Marriott hotel in aid of the Welsh Cancer Charity Tenovus.
They are an amazing charity that help patients and their families with support where and when they need it most.
We probably all know someone that is going through a tough time with cancer.
I know someone really special going through a tough time at the moment and it is great when there are so many charities and special people that are there to help.
A big thank you to all those amazing people that help.
And also thank you to lovely Natalie at tenovus for organising such a great event! Well done.

Thank you to Mr. Rabbit for liking vintage.

You have to love these lovely red shoes worn by Lesley.

And this matching hat made by Pippa.

I love the whole heart and playing card theme.

Playing cards everywhere.

A beautiful flower pink hat.

Almost everyone there seemed to have a story. Some sad stories but also lots of happy stories that brings you hope.

A hat inspired by Neal's yard products.

There was a competition for the best hat.
This wallpaper and fabric inspired one won.

Love it, this photo almost makes the hat look like a dress with the little legs at the bottom.

Potted plants in tea cups on each table.
Everyone got a vintage cup and saucer to take home full of treats.

One lovely lady won my raffle donation: a Welsh green inspired cake-stand.

Lots more cake-stands and vintage china to play with.

What a lovely afternoon.
What special ladies,
with inspiring stories.

Big hugs to all those out there going through tough times.
