Christmas Wonderland ,

Christmas Wonderland has arrived in Swansea.
We had a little time there with the little ones who were so in awe of the bright buzzing atmosphere and the loud Christmas music.

This fast ride looked pretty but was way to scary.

Spin, spin, spin the wheel.
(and the camera)

 Bright blue slide with lights.

Quarter of the Giant Wheel.

Snowman with a bright idea.

Ice-skaters.

Ice skater.

Watching.

A little bit of lady spray paint action on a fair ground ride.

Two Suzukis.

Prize every time booth. Wonder what the prize could be!

Big Wheel behind the Prize every time booth.

Fast, spinning car ride.

OK.
Will wait.

One more day to wait until Father Christmas pays a visit!

How exciting.

Yippie,

Have a good Christmas Eve.

And a really lovely Christmas Day.

Big hugs to you all, and thank you so much to all that have ended up here this year.

Green and Gold Vintage China,

I have been meaning to write this for a while.
We have been a little bit late in getting ready for Christmas as we have had so much on at the moment.
But we had to get out the lovely green vintage china to celebrate the first mouth watering experience of a warm mince pie with a hot cup of herbal tea.

Mince pie, courtesy of our lovely neighbours Ollie  and Chris.

Mince pie for four on four pretty green plates.

Lightening design on this green plate.

Green and gold Royal Albert. I also have a few more of these in really bold colours.

Love the design of this green and gold cup so much , so beautiful.

Top view x 4.

I knew I would love crochet one day!

Four green plates.

Pile of green plates.

More plates, sorry got carried away!

So looking forward to more mince pies.

ping = park in gear

PING = Park IN Gear
Park! - Handbrake! - Put in Gear!

A campaign to raise awareness to put your car in gear when you park.

"Harry Patterson was 5 years old when he was tragically killed outside his home on the 13th September 2011 when the family car rolled into him even though the handbrake was applied. At his inquest, his Father, Christian heard that it is in the highway code to always park your car with the handbrake engaged and in first gear if uphill and reverse gear if facing downhill, it is hoped that this will prevent any further tragedies such as the one that the Patterson Family have suffered."

PING on Facebook.
More PING information found here on Harry's Fund website.

Really scary, I saw a car outside my house roll down the hill that I live on last week.

So please do spread the word.

My heart goes out so much to the lovely Michelle, Christian and Dylan.

Big Hugs

Vintage Film Night,

Vintage Film Night

It was such a lovely atmosphere and evening.
Vic from Harry's Fund came and talked to the audience before the film started about the fund and what it hoped to achieve.
You can read more information about Harry's Fund and the Vintage Film night here.

We raised over £350 for Harry's Fund on the night.
So many people have taken part and helped with so many different events for the Fund.
It hopefully will all add up and make a difference.

So many lovely people donated lovely desserts. We are really honoured by such generosity and kindness that so many people have shown.
I so am addicted to my Mom's homemade mince pies.
I love them soooooo much.
She spent all day making them, bless her purple cotton socks.

I tell you this gorgeous coffee cake didn't last long too!
Thanks Mrs B.

Charity Vintage Film Night for Harry's Fund,

Our Charity Vintage film night for Harry's Fund is this Friday evening.

Harry was a beautiful, healthy and lively 5 year old who tragically died on the 13th of September 2011.
Harry's Fund is about keeping Harry's memory alive by developing a memorial park for all to enjoy and for giving support to others who have lost children tragically.

You can find more information here about this fantastic fund.
and follow them on twitter here.
and Facebook here.
As a direct result of details revealed at the inquest the family and friends have now launched a campaign called  "Park in Gear" or PING.

So if you have a chance please read the sites, so this kind of tragic accident doesn't happen again.

Thank you.
