Jubilee Street Party

We went to a fab Jubilee Street Party in Mumbles this week. The weather has been a bit wet recently but that cheeky rain didn't dampen our spirits! It was great that the rain held off until the eating and the games had finished. It was a busy and fun event with an awesome atmosphere. The Union Jack bunting came out once again as well as  all those colourful flags.

There was a sea of red, white and blue attire for the afternoon!
This outfit worn by Bertie was so my favourite!

A few Royal visitors managed to make it.

Hello there Phil!

And Charlie.

Everyone bought so much food, it was amazing. It had such a lovely family like feeling all afternoon. No one wanted to leave.

This little one is keen to eat some food.

Tasty red, white and blue Jelly.

So it's good bye from these guys and from me too. :-)

Hope you are all well.

I think I may have a few hundred more photos of more Jubilee events, bet you can't wait!

Take care for now.

Vintage Jubilee Party,

We were lucky enough to join up with Ffynone House School in Swansea last week for their Vintage Jubilee tea party and sports day. It was fortunate that it was a beautiful sunny day to hold a tea party.
It was a packed event with students and parents as well as the local radio station. It was amazing to see that the whole school got involved, from all the staff to the parents too. Even the students on study leave came back to celebrate the Jubilee for the day.

The visiting Radio team are cycling from Paris to Swansea this summer in aid of Maggie's. Ffynone School also support Maggie's Cancer Care. So it was a good joint effort to raise over £250 for this worthy cause. Check out the link to read more about them.
They are amazing:-)

Everyone wore red, white and blue.

 Setting up the vintage china.

Eating.

Cup cakes made by one of the students.

Really cute Union Jack cup cakes.

Also we were lucky enough to work with Watering Can Media on a cool time lapse photography project, which involved over 1600 photographs during the Jubilee party.

An awesome day with a beautiful school.

Hope you had a great Jubilee Weekend!
