Jubilee Vintage Tea Party,

Ok, ok, this is the last Jubilee post, I promise!
Oystermouth Primary school recently had a Jubilee party for all it's former students, parents and supporters.
It was a fantastic turnout with so many people attending the event. Even former head-masters came too. Everyone really enjoyed drinking cups of tea and eating the most awesome cakes that all the parents had made. I may have got carried away with too many photographs of vintage china but if you know me and my blog posts over the last few years you would have already expect that!

Cool Jubilee poster by Rasa.

The collection of teapots is growing, the question is can you ever have enough?

So many cakes.

Lovely Meagan's flowers from Made in Mumbles.

A tad bit of tablecloth action.

My favourite vintage cake-stand.

A spot of Royal Albert.

Cheeky yellow bird.

Amazing looking cake - don't worry I didn't make it!

May pole dancing ladies on vintage linen.
Think we all should have tried a bit of that!

Ahhh that china cup doesn't go with that saucer!

Lady in yellow crinoline dress tea cup.

I can see the headmaster!

More Sadler teapots?

Flowers in vases.

Cake tent in the background.

Sweet Williams.

Eating cake.

Amazing Meagan.

Awesome Anna tidying.

Aaahhh finally time for my cup of tea.

Pink Sadler teapot.

Fab photo of glass cake stands.

All the little ones got a goodie bag full of lovely picnic food and treats donated by a certain lovely Rebecca T.
Just wow to your  brilliant and generous idea Rebecca :-)
They will certainly remember this day for a very long time.
Does anyone remember the last Jubilee?
Yikes am I showing my age!!
The whole school then had a fashion parade and fancy dress competition which was really good fun from the 3 year olds to the 11 year olds.

Looking at all the old photos.
It was amazing to see how many generations and relatives had attended the school! It must have taken ages to gather all these photos from the archives.
My 93 year old grandmother-in-law was really hoping to attend the reunion and vintage tea party but was unfortunately unwell on the day. That would have made such a lovely photo of 4 generations who had attended the school!

Hello cheeky harlie.

As you can see it was such a fun afternoon.
It went by way too quickly, which is defiantly a good sign.
Well done to all the wonderful PTA team and parents at Oystermouth School.
You have raised an awful lot of money in a short time for a very worthy cause - (the playground.)

In awe.

Well done to amazing Meagan again too for just everything!!

Such a star.

Take care for now.

The Little Bakeshop,

I love visiting
It is a really friendly coffee shop as well as specialist in beautiful desserts.
We have sampled quite a few of their cakes now.
I always have to try out something chocolatey, and I so am never disappointed.

Always happy to be greeted by pretty vintage china
and cute knitted cup-cakes.

I'm a bit of a fan of gold frames.
Little tasty samples to try which always goes down well with the little ones!
And oh my word these gluten free Brownies are so tasty.
My next door neighbour Chris now pops by with some of these beauties.
A very nice neighbour!
Pastries don't last long here!
And of course how can you go wrong with delicate vintage china to serve your lovely tasty desserts on!

I have been meaning to write this post for over a month now. This has been the longest time I haven't written in my little blog. I'm sure you all have been missing it! hehe
It has probably been the busiest month in a long time which is great. I think the sun has arrived and suddenly everyone is ready  for vintage china!

Anyway I am always excited to see another coffee shop anywhere, you so can never have enough! So if you have a chance pop into this really lovely and friendly cake shop.

The Little Bakeshop were kind enough to donate these beautiful chocolate cupcakes for our recent vintage tea party. They went down very well!

Ok I had one, but only one though. I had to test them!
And it was ammmmmmazing!

Have a really lovely day.

Pretty Scrum Diddly Cakes.

I continue to be in awe of Michelle's beautiful wedding cupcakes from Scrum Diddly.
I absolutely love them.
It was great fun trying to match her pretty cupcakes with some delicate vintage china recently at a recent Wedding Fayre.
I love the intricate detail on the flowers.

Light pink pearl cupcake.
My favourite, pink and green flowers on cupcake!

So love this really cute blue and white spotty cupcake,
Top views of cakes.
And my favourite green cup and saucer.

And zoomed in version of blue spotty ribbon on cupcake and blue vintage china.

Hope you like the cakes as much as me.

If you like these, you should see some of Michelle's awesome wedding cakes.

Take care for now.
I am so behind with so many blogs,
I have started so many and I haven't finished them.
We have been so busy, which is a good thing, a very good thing. So many emails and so many cake eating sessions going on!

I am so excited about the rest of 2012.

I was so going to start mountain biking again this year.
Like when am I ever going to find time for that!

And I so need it with all the tea parties and cake eating.

Love Big Bertha, I mean Becca:-)
