Royal Albert's Lady Carlyle Pink China,

I'm so in love with this new pink china trio. I picked up a couple of these this week and I can't stop looking at them. That does sound a little odd doesn't it. But nonetheless I'm in love.
This pretty pink floral pattern is none other then Lady Carlyle's pattern by Royal Albert.

I'm starting to notice a strong similarity of this large pink rose bouquet with a lot of my china now from many different china makers.

Lovely chocolate brownie made by The Little Bakeshop.

So loving our lovely Nespresso coffee maker.

Don't worry, I did manage a long walk after eating this large chocolate brownie today!
I have also started running again, something drastic was so needed after eating all these cakes.
It may take a century or two to loose a few pounds though.

Take care for now.

My gosh I just remembered I still have a full China set hiding away in the car still.
I must get that out tomorrow.

Ooooh that is a pretty set too.

Vintage China and Cookies,

Cookies on Royal Albert vintage sandwich plate.
I came across this china the other day in my garage and couldn't believe that I had forgotten all about it.
There is always the thought that one should save such pretty vintage china for a special occasion, but I really feel that everyday is an occasion to be happy about.
So here it is.

Plus it's also good to try out the china before it gets hired out!

Love the Royal Albert gold detail and pattern.
 And pretty table runner.
Perfect cup size for a coffee.

China getting to know each other.
 5 large cookies.

Flower detail.
Love this one!
Cheeky hand

Have a great weekend.

Happy New Year's Day Vintage China Session,

2012
So it's 2012! I Wish you all a Happy New Year to you.
We started the year with some lovely friends and also we managed to do what we like doing best.
We got out our favourite vintage china and had a good old cup of tea.
One of my loveliest vintage friends was visiting - not vintage in age! But she does love everything vintage and home made.

So I picked this delicate grey cup (made in Glasgow) for lovely Ness.

 Really pretty spoon.

Detail on grey "Silver Birch" saucer from Royal Albert.

 Change the lens time!

 And again.

Cute dinky gold teapot.

Fancy Vintage china x 4.

 Christmas shortbread cookies.

Loving embroidered tablecloths at the moment.
(well always really)

And my favourite spoons.

Sorry got carried away with photos again!

Hope you have all had a great day and hope this year will be a good one for you.

We are all really missing our lovely friend that past away recently, big time, and somehow New Year's Eve will be so different from now on. Praying that somehow this year we will recover from her loss and carry on remembering how awesome and talented she was.

Also am so thankful for close friends and family, especially my wee little ones. I am so lucky to have such sweet busy bees that make me laugh so much - and also how lucky that they happen to love china!
(shame about the other half not so keen! haha)

Take care for now and thanks again for stopping by.
