Fancy Vintage Dresses,

Like most people, I have a love for pretty vintage dresses. So I thought it was time to take some photographs of these cute dresses that are hiding away in my cupboard. I was actually inspired by the fact I was a bit cheeky and brought a couple of dresses last week. And while I was hiding them away I found the other dresses. So here they are.

Really cute light pink vintage dress

Selection of vintage dresses hanging on my door.

Another new one, really pretty delicate green dress.

I got a bit excited by this sepia collage.

I've had this blue lace dress for years,

I so love the shape of this big full light blue skirt.
Too bad it doesn't fit!

Thought this orange dress was such an unusual colour, but so much fun!

You could certainly tango in this!

Also I have had this cream lace dress for years, a little short but cute.

Pretty pink and gold fabric.

Bright gold long vintage dress.

Another newish one.

Unusual peach coloured dress. It came with a pretty light blue sash which looks really nice, just washing it at the moment.

Long red dress with a big bow at the back.

Kind of liked the white ceramic door knob with the vintage dresses hanging next to it.

Hope you enjoyed.
Thinking these dresses could be useful for photo shoots in the future.

Have a good day.

The Blind Lemon Vintage Fashion Fair,

 The Blind Lemon Vintage
Fashion Fair

I had the pleasure of attending the Blind Lemon Vintage fashion fair recently in Swansea.
It was founded in 2005 in Pembrokeshire and has now developed into s series of Vintage Fashion Fairs across the Uk. It is run by Edwin Dyson who is based in Bristol.

I only took a few photographs as one had to try on loads of cute 1950's outfits and look at all the lovely treasures.

Lots and lots of jewellery.

Maroon hat.

Really cute 1950's floral print dress.

A plethora of pretty printed dresses, skirts and shirts.

Grey spotty and yellow floral dress.

Heart shaped teapot.

Jewellery detail.

Floral fabric.

Blue and white swimming hat.
Would love the looks if I turned up on the beach with this beauty!

Yellow swimming hat.

Black and gold  dress.

Red and yellow dress detail.

blue and white pinafore dress.

Gold dress detail.

Brown shoes.

I have a passion for old magazines.
Particularly love this fun cover on the magazine Courier.

I was in a world-wind rush going around.
Chatted to some lovely people, tried on some lovely clothes and took a few photos.

I did rather well, even though I was so so so tempted to buy more.
I  brought the cutest vintage red floral skirt.I haven't worn it yet but I think I actually might wear it today.

I am now looking forward to the next vintage fair now.

Vintage Orange Dress,

Vintage Orange Dress,

I picked up this lovely colourful layered vintage orange dress this week, I really love it, it makes me laugh every time I see it.

Wish I could say I knitted the lovely rainbow coloured blanket underneath it.

Could you wear this dress both ways?

Bit of Ruffle activity going on here.

Nice belt action.

Love these diaphanous sleeves.

My sister in law, thought you may get comments that you have been tango'd if you where to wear this bright orange dress!
Just don't have an orange tan while you wear it!

Anticipation though, does this dress fit!

No.

Oh well, it looks pretty hanging up next to it's friends.
Perhaps should do a blog on my rainbow collection of Vintage dresses?

That don't fit!
hahaha

Have a lovely colourful day.

Becca.

One day to go until the Worlds biggest Macmillan coffee morning.

Yikes so much to do still.
It is a massive hall to decorate.
Yippie, more bunting arrived today!
Hope it looks pretty.

Vintage Blue Dress.

 Vintage Blue Dress
I came across this stunning vintage light blue dress yesterday.
I fell in love with it straight away and now it is has a home hanging on the back of my door.

Ok, ok, ok, so maybe it's not my size, but does that matter?
Is it only me that buys something that is beautiful that isn't necessarily the right size?

How could one resist all the attentional to detail.

The photographs taken with this filter lens make this vintage dress look like a white wedding dress.

Sparkly flower detail shimmering in the light.

Handmade dress detail of the zip.

Love the fullness of the large petticoat.

Loads of layers of net underneath this dress.

This dress is so heavy!

Ok so the diet begins so I can fit into this dress one day!
hahaha.
