Vintage Tea With Light Blue Dress,

Good Morning, Hope you are all well.
Finally the sun is back and we may have a summer after all!
So there will be hopefully plenty of opportunities for outdoor tea parties.

I had the pleasure once again of a certain local visitor for a spot of tea.
It is always fun to try and match vintage china with what ever Chris is wearing.
This time we went for the blue-bird teacup and the yellow crinoline lady teacup. What a choice!

Delicate Colclough floral jug.

Love this large stripy silver teapot.

Always find yourself holding the lid on a teapot.

Chris picked the lovely yellow crinoline dress teacup.
I have quite a bit of this set now.
I really, really love it.

And I had the blue-bird teacup.

Just had to put Chris's beautiful blue dress on this blog.
She had the dress so briefly but what a joy it was for the few seconds she had it!

Love the pale peach under petticoat.
The attention to detail is actually probably why you end up paying so much for this dress.

Some of you may have already guessed where this gorgeous dress is from?
One shop rings a bell.
The cream long cardigan is also from the same shop.

Love the full length of the pretty fabric.

How cute is the belt.

Only thing was that this dress was mega expensive.
As beautiful as it is.
It had to go back!

At least we have photo records of it's brief moment out of the box.

Thanks pretty dress for the short meeting.

Vintage Cat,

It's been a busy, busy month.
Which is great but busy and not much time for blogging.
I thought I'd put in a couple photographs of the vintage cat who made an appearance to our home last week.
It was little one's birthday and in the week he was chosen to take the lovely cat home for the evening.

We stopped by the park on the way home.
(Note the little ones enthusiasm of playing on the slide behind).
Thus leaving the cat behind.

Oops. cat on the floor.

Then back home for dress up time and cup of tea.

The 3 of them enjoyed dressing her up for a high tea.

She obviously needed a little help.

And had a sneaky sleep afterwards.

We also had a sneaky stop by an old hall to book a Vintage Party and to take some notes.

And now the party is this weekend!

So a lot of planning has been done,
with a little bit more to do.

Will show you the photos soon!
