Gold and Silver Vintage Shoe Collection.

The little ones discovered my shoe collection today, so was inspired to log them as so to speak!
I admit I do have a soft spot for the old sparkly gold and silver shoe.
I'm sure there must be a few people out there that must feel the same?
or is just me?

The pile.

Six pairs of sparkly shoes all lined up.

My two favourite pairs of shoes.

Love these so much, so pretty.

Shouldn't mention that these actually are a bit small,
but I was planning on framing them in a white box frame!
I did buy them for my friend Beth, who had to be Cinderella in a production.
She looked amazing in them.

These ones look better on.
These were a recent purchase from my visit to Bath.

Love the back of these shoes more then the front.

Think I have had these for years and years, They make me laugh so much.
These have been worn out many times and are surprisingly comfy.

These are quite comfortable too, quite cute.

Three young cheeky vintage shoe fans!

Loving the brown stripy socks with the gold shoes.

Loving this look.

Green and gold should never be seen except when wearing vintage.

Had to prize these away from number 3.
He absolutely loved these beauties.
What have I started?
At least he had sense to take his socks off for a better photo!

This is what number 3 did for some light entertainment this afternoon.
So good to train them early.

And this,
Let's hope he becomes an artist or shoe designer...

Haven't even begun on the bags!
Will leave that for another day.
Hope you like the Gold and Silver shoe collection.
Wonder if you have a preference?
Gold or silver?

Think I'm liking Gold,
just so I can wear it with green socks!

Gold Vintage Coffee Afternoon.

After a few humorous comments about this over-the-top vintage gold china; I felt it was time to put it to good use on the first friend that visited.
That friend was Chris who came round earlier armed with a scrumptious chocolate brownie.
I felt that there was only one coffee pot up for the task.

The gold new one!
It’s first use!

Also loving Chris’s layered outfit.
Vintage style bicycle dress and belt by Anthropology.
(her favorite shop)
Maroon polo neck brought in Germany,
and cardi from M & S.

Really cute look,

There were a few giggles about the thimble sized coffee cup!
Was that one mouthful or two of coffee before finishing.

Thinking two mouthfuls!

I tell you, I think you could do a whole wedding for 100 people on this one coffee pot!
It could be that miracle coffee pot you were just looking for!
A very practical piece of china indeed!
Book your gold event now!

New Vintage Gold and Blue Teapot.

I picked up a lovely hand painted vintage bright blue teapot and large milk jug this week.

Think I am so going to sketch this, it has to be the most perfect teapot to draw.

I had a long way to walk so only had this box to carry the china in.

I had to be so careful. Did I mention the over the top Vintage Gold Coffee set either?
I'm not sure if I did....

My word it is Bright! But kind of fun, and ostentatious, and a little bit flamboyant.
But I think that is why I like it, makes me laugh.

I probably also haven't mentioned it is my third set like this, oops. Can't help it, My brother even picked a few of this set up in London recently. Can you imagine a whole wedding in this!
(laughing now)
Or even just the top table?
Or a fancy dress wedding?
Or at the Oscars gold themed party?
Think I am trying to convince myself it was a good purchase.

Also the thing is my mother in law has the exact same gold tea-set handed down from her great aunty, but does she use it?
No,I have never ever seen her use it, ever!
I will, I hope!

(but I will be smiling while drinking coffee from this dinky gold cup)

Wonder how many of you will like this gold set?
Wonder how many are laughing!

VIntage Photographs Find,

Love these old Photograph slides I saw yesterday.
I had to hold them to the light to take photographs of them.
They came in this beautiful vintage tin box.

'Sharp's the word for Toffee' vintage green tin box.

A collection of castles, anyone recognise them?

Love these old photographs, so nostalgic.
Think everyone was wondering what I was doing taking photographs of them.
How could you not, a real treasure find.
Can you imagine what people a hundred years ago would think of our digital cameras today!
I'm thinking I would love an old, old, old camera!
Next visit to the car boot...

Pretty Pink Vintage Glass Bowls,

Just thought I'd put a collection of pretty pink and clear glass vintage bowls together.
Have quite a collection now, love the pink ones.  They came in quite handy for collecting donations for the Vintage tea party on Saturday.

Glass cake stand full of cakes,

Love these pink bowls, how beautiful would it be to have your dessert out of these!

Lovely piles of glass plates and bowls,

another view of pink bowls,

Really pretty large pink bowl,

A wobbly pile of clear glass bowls.

I brought some vintage green glass bowls last week, they are so funny, wasn't sure if I should have got them but I thought the Welsh St. David's day was coming up soon and was thinking red and green from the flag and yellow for the daffodils.............
Now where am I going to find yellow glass bowls!
