Vintage Afternoon Tea,

Fancy Vintage had the pleasure of working with Nia and the lovely fundraising team from Bobath at the weekend for their beautiful Vintage Afternoon Tea. It was a packed event with music, vintage stalls and lots of tea & cake.
(Of course all on pretty vintage china)
I have never met such a lovely group of people that all work so well together. So it was a whole lot of fun chatting and eating cake as well as selling some cake-stands and tea cup candles too.
Here are a few of the photographs from the event.

My favorite Apron.

Time for Tea sign.

Bobath do quite a bit of fund-raising.

This was a brilliant event for a very worthy cause. Go and read more about what Bobath do. They provide specialist physiotherapy, occupational therapy and speech and language therapy to children all over Wales who have cerebral palsy.
They raised over £600 on the day, which is so fantastic.

Busy, busy day.

My brother with a pretty gold and floral tea cup.

I loved this tea drinker!

She had the most beautiful pink dress on.

Loved it.

Scrum Diddley's pretty cupcake.

Nia's lovely mom with blue china.

Four pink cakes on Royal Albert.

Chocolate and lemon cakes.

Lovely cup cakes donated by The Little Bakeshop in Mumbles.

One of my favourite green vintage plates.

Love the shape of this plate.

Three tiered cake stand.

So lovely to meet Mrs Russell from Mrs Russell's Vintage China.

And of course loving Scrum Diddly cakes.

And Mrs R's cute red shoes!

It was one of our busiest days so far, as not only did we have this lovely tea party but we also had a large wedding of 120.
(More photos to follow)

Hope that you are all well.

Take care for now, have a good weekend.

  4. I had one of those Sadler teapots at the top from auction but it was blue, pretty. A great cause - my son has a significant speech delay of unknown cause & through therapy I have met mothers with children with cerebral palsy so I see how hard it can be. xx
